Cortex Mosaic is a chart room in Jeonju for technical analysis training. The sittings stay with momentum indicators and oscillator interpretation: RSI, the stochastic, and MACD, marked on paper before anyone talks about a trade.

01 · The desk

Price tells you where. Momentum tells you the hurry.

Most people who write to the room already keep candlestick charts. What they want is a slower reading of the lower panel: when RSI agrees with the swing, when a stochastic cross is only noise in the middle of a range, and when the MACD histogram has faded while the price high still looks fine.

The room on Seosan-ro holds eight at the studio table. Charts are printed. The lamp is warm. English is the language on the board, and the names in the packets are often KOSPI, KOSDAQ, or USD/KRW.

02 · A Tuesday

  1. The packet opens to yesterday’s oscillator, scale labels left off so the slope is what you see.
  2. Divergences are marked in pencil before anyone gives them a bullish or bearish name.
  3. One participant’s chart goes on the board. The comments stay with the study.
  4. The last twenty minutes are comparison, not a forecast for the next session.

05 · From the room

I came in treating RSI 70 as a reason to exit a KOSPI name that was still trending. By the sixth sitting I could see the pin and leave it alone. The printed packets were stricter than the videos I had been pausing at midnight.
