Refunds and seat changes

Eligibility

A refund applies to fees you have paid for a sitting that has not been fully delivered, or that the desk cancels. Attendance at an hour that has already taken place is the delivery of that hour. Timeframe and full refunds

If you cancel a studio seat, a clinic seat, or a circle seat at least 14 days before the first hour, the desk returns the deposit and any remainder already paid, in full. If the desk cancels a sitting, including when a public date does not reach a workable number, you receive a full refund of what you paid for that sitting.

Partial refunds

If you cancel fewer than 14 days before the first hour and at least 48 hours before it, the desk keeps the 30 percent deposit and returns any amount you paid above that deposit. If you leave a multi-day sequence after it has started, the fee is apportioned by the hours already held, those hours are kept, and the fee for hours not yet held is returned, minus the deposit if the notice is inside 48 hours of the next hour.

Non-refundable items

A printed chart packet that has already been produced for your name is non-refundable once printed, and its cost is taken from the sum otherwise due back. The desk will tell you that amount in the refund note; it is the print cost, not a second copy of the full fee. Hours already taught are non-refundable. A no-show without notice is non-refundable for that hour, and for a single-day clinic or a Chart Desk Review that means the full fee.

Deposits, rescheduling, no-shows

The deposit is 30 percent for the studio, the clinic, and the circle. The Chart Desk Review is paid in full when the hour is confirmed. You may move a confirmed seat once, without a fee, if you write at least 7 days before the first hour and another date has a free chair. A second move, or a move inside 7 days, is treated as a cancellation under the timeframe above. A no-show releases the chair; the desk does not hold it past the first twenty minutes.

Work already started

Once a studio or circle sequence has begun, the instructor’s preparation and the hours already spent stay earned. The partial-refund rule above is the calculation. Private group dates cancelled by the group inside 14 days keep the deposit, because the room turned away public seats for those hours.

Process, timing, and method

Email the sitting name, the date, and the account name for the return. The desk confirms the amount within five business days. Refunds are sent by bank transfer in Korean won to the account that paid, within 10 business days after that confirmation. If a card was never used, a card reversal is not available; transfer is the method.

Exceptions

If you are ill and you write before the hour begins, the desk will move you to a later date of the same sitting type when a seat exists, rather than treat the absence as a no-show. If no later seat exists in the next two public dates, the partial or full rule above applies as if you had cancelled with the notice you actually gave. Disruption that ends a person’s attendance does not create a refund for hours already held.
