Cookie notice
This page describes how Cortex Mosaic uses cookies and similar storage on cortexmosaic.click. It sits alongside the privacy notice, which covers names, emails, and attendance records.
What cookies are
A cookie is a small file a site asks your browser to keep and send back later. Similar storage, such as localStorage, stays in the browser and is not automatically sent to a server with each page. We use localStorage for one consent record. We do not set advertising cookies.
Types we use
Essential storage is the consent record itself, so the banner does not have to ask on every page once you have chosen. Analytics cookies are not in use on this site. If that changes, this table will be updated before any analytics cookie is set, and the banner will ask again.
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|
| cortexmosaic-consent | Stores whether you accepted or rejected optional cookies. Held in localStorage on your browser, not sent as a tracking cookie. | Until you clear site data for this domain | Cortex Mosaic |
Third-party cookies
Pages load typefaces from Google Fonts. That request may allow Google to receive your IP address and the usual connection data of a font request. We do not add advertising pixels, social trackers, or analytics scripts. If a font host sets a cookie, it is their cookie; you can block third-party cookies in your browser without losing the lessons.
How to choose, and how to change the choice
On your first visit a banner offers Accept and Reject with the same kind of button. Accept stores the value “accepted”. Reject stores the value “rejected”. Rejecting does not lock any page, form, or field note. To choose again, clear site data for cortexmosaic.click in your browser settings and reload. You can also block cookies and localStorage entirely; the site remains readable, and the banner may reappear each visit because the choice cannot be stored.
Effect of disabling
If you disable storage, you will still be able to read the lessons, the rates, and the field notes, and you will still be able to send the inquiry form. You will only lose the memory of your cookie choice. Disabling fonts may change the look of the type; the words remain.
