Mark the swing before you name the divergence
A divergence on RSI is only as honest as the two swings you chose. Here is how the Jeonju desk marks them in pencil.
The two points have to be the same kind of turn
On the Tuesday board we do not start with the RSI window. We start with price. A regular bearish divergence asks for two swing highs. A regular bullish divergence asks for two swing lows. If one of the points is a pause in the middle of a leg, the oscillator will often print a pretty disagreement that is only a bad pair of dots.
Han Seo-yeon makes the room say the swing out loud before the pencil touches the lower panel. Higher high or lower high. Higher low or lower low. Only then does anyone look at the 14-period RSI. The habit feels slow the first evening. By the third sitting it stops a lot of false drama.
What the packet actually contains
Bae Min-jae prints daily bars with the oscillator underneath and the scale labels removed on purpose. People read the slope instead of hunting a round number. A line that rolls over while price is still pressing the prior high is the case we want. A line that is merely lower because you zoomed the panel is not.
Hidden divergence gets its own page, later. Beginners mix it with regular divergence because both involve a mismatch. Regular divergence is price pushing further while momentum does not. Hidden divergence, in the way this room marks it, is momentum pushing further while price does not — often inside a trend that has not finished. We do not teach them on the same sheet.
A fade is not a command
The studio rule is written on the inside cover of the packet: the mark records what the oscillator did. It does not place an order. Several participants arrive from chat rooms where RSI above 70 is treated as a bell. We spend a sitting on trends that stay pinned in that zone while price walks higher. The oscillator was honest about strength. The bell was someone else's sentence.
